WASL

the wasl is a test designed for the state to measure the students learning in Washington state that numerous amounts of students take a year. for this test the cost of administering is going up consistently. just this weekend we found that the 22million dollar bdget was not going to be enough to proctor the test this year they would have to move the price up by 15 to 25 million dollars more. some are questioning if it is even worth administering the test any more others are trying to find ways to make it cost efficient.  all of this has come about do to the frequency that we must administer the test due to NCLB is this a good idea. its hard to tell what they will be doing to change but something will have to change soon and fast in order for the test to work. .
